We\u2019ve had one heck of a weird\nsummer!  We\u2019ve got hot weather where is should be cold, we\u2019ve got\ncold weather when it should be hot.  We\u2019ve got rain instead of shine and\nnow we\u2019re sweltering in over 100 degree weather! It\u2019s wreaking some serious havoc\non our summer tanning! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally I can\u2019t tan to save my\nlife, however, for those of you who can hold a lovely golden tan, this tumultuous\nweather can be very discouraging.  The sun hasn\u2019t been out in a steady\nfashion, so you\u2019re pale and beginning to consider if you should go Goth or\nnot.  Well, before you decide something that drastic, here are a few tips\nthat may brighten up your day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanning Beds<\/strong>.  Ok, if your budget doesn\u2019t allow, or you\u2019re afraid\nof developing wrinkles, this may not be the option for you, but it\u2019s still a\ngood and valid choice over pale skin.  For one it helps your body produce\nVitamin D, which is a great mood enhancer and something your body craves. \nHowever!  This is important; you do not need to expose your body to long\nperiods in a Tanning Bed.  It\u2019s the same as lying out in the sun and you\nrisk more than just getting sunburned.  You do not need to risk a melanoma\njust to get a little color.  So fifteen minutes max a few times a week\nwill boost your Vitamin D levels and get a little golden going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fake Tanner. <\/strong> So, if you don\u2019t want to risk any form of skin damage that\nyou might encounter with the tanning bed, you can always go the way of the fake\ntanner.  Now I know some of you are screaming NO!  I understand you\nhave grave misgivings about using anything that comes in a squeeze bottle and\nboasts an even golden tan.  You\u2019ve seen or experienced all the orange,\nstreaky skin you care to.  Well, I have a product that is amazing and if\nyou apply it properly you will not have to worry about either of those. \nIt\u2019s called Vichy Self-Tanning Cream<\/a>.  This\nstuff is amazing!  Made in France you can find it online at Amazon and\nother places, but I don\u2019t think you\u2019ll be able to find it at your local Rite\nAid.  This stuff gives you an amazing streak free tan with none of that\nannoying orange shade you so fear.  It\u2019s a healthy and beautiful way to\nget a summer sun kissed look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spray Tanning<\/strong>. \nThis third option can be a very nice, if somewhat pricey choice.  In\naverage a spray tan can be anywhere from $25 to $50 a go.  Good news is it\nwill last a good week.  Sometimes longer if you happen to have dry\nskin.  There is one disclaimer I will say though.  Do NOT go to the\ntanning booths.  These sprays on tans are not even and leave strange\nlittle places that are as white as you don\u2019t want to be.  So, find\nyourself a personalized custom spray tanner.  These will give you a smooth,\neven and beautiful tan.  You might even be able to get them to do a little\ncreative contouring!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, hopefully these tips have helped you on your quest for a beautiful beachy tan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
